So I bought this Hagstrom XII from Canada and thought it would be a good idea to return it home to it's home country (im swedish).The guitar was listed as "parts" because the neckpocket had been damaged when Hagstrom shipped the guitar to Canada NEW in 1967, so the guitar was basically in NOS condition except for the damage.The guitar is 1 of 651 made in 1967. The problem was that the Viking XII could not handle the pressure of 12 strings, and the neck gets pulled back, causing the neck pocket to drop, and then the most noticable defect happens, where the block with the front strap button starts to recede, causing the finish to crack as the block receeds.
